75th Board Meeting of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Held; New Pilgrim Facilities Inaugurated

The 75th Board Meeting of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) was held today, chaired by senior officials overseeing the shrine’s management and development. The meeting focused on improving pilgrim services, infrastructure, and spiritual accessibility.
As part of the day’s initiatives, several new pilgrim-centric facilities were inaugurated near the Holy Cave area and Parvati Bhawan. These additions are designed to improve comfort, safety, and the overall spiritual experience for devotees visiting the shrine.
A major announcement was made during the meeting: five newly constructed temples in Reasi district, built by the Shrine Board, will be dedicated to the public in July 2025. These temples are expected to enhance religious tourism and offer additional places of worship to pilgrims visiting Vaishno Devi.
Officials highlighted the Shrine Board’s continuous efforts to modernize facilities while preserving the sanctity of the holy site. The projects under development aim to serve the millions of pilgrims who visit the shrine annually from across India and abroad.
